Without mentioning my child's name I want to share how valuable these lessons with Michelle have been for my kiddo. My daughter struggled through Covid, fell behind and lost her sense of self. She was depressed and writing in her journal about not wanting to live anymore. It's been a long hard road with lots of therapy. Since then, she's been good. Then she found Michelle. After her first lesson I saw a smile that I hadn't seen in years. Her enthusiasm was contagious. When I picked her up from her first lesson I asked her how was it? In a very assertive and joyful voice she said, "that was absolutely amazing". Seeing that happiness return lit a fire in me. I knew this was her happy place and she looks forward to every lesson with Michelle, private or group, she arrives happy and leaves even happier. Michelle is not just her sewing teacher, but has become a life coach. My daughter's confidence and joy in what she creates with Michelle is invaluable. We hit the jackpot!
